Atta Cat Food Feeding Instructions

Age of Cat

Feeding Amount*


Kittens 3 to 6 weeks old

4 times daily

Moisten dry food with water or milk in amounts the kitten will consume in 10 minutes.  Remove uneaten food.


7 weeks to 6 months

3 times daily


As the kitten becomes accustomed to solid food, gradually reduce the amount of moisture.
Continue 10 minute feeding.


6 months to adult cats

2 times daily


For the average cat begin with about a ½ cup of food per 6 pounds of body weight.
Vary the amount fed according to age, size and activity level of your pet.

Atta Cat Cuisine Cat Food can be fed dry or mixed with water or milk.  If mixed, we suggest 1 part liquid to 3 parts Atta Cat.  Vary your pet's menu by alternating between dry and moist servings.  Some cats will eat only what they need.  They can have free access to food throughout the day (cafeteria feeding) without gaining weight.  For those cats that need controlled feeding, use the feeding chart below as a guide.  Quantity should be adjusted as experience dictates to maintain your cat's top condition. 


Kittens may be weaned between 6 and 8 weeks of age. Atta Cat can be fed to kittens as soon as they show an interest in solid food. At about six months, the young cat should be fed as an adult.


Be sure to have clean fresh water available at all times.
